New Year's Day

We spent New Year's Day at Hunting Island, S.C. The weather was forecasted to be partly sunny and around 70 degrees, but it turned out to be a little colder. It was also rainy and foggy. We made the best of it though. We took subway sandwiches for lunch then took a walk on the beach. There were also many crazy people taking part in the annual Penguin Plunge. We drove to the camp grounds to check it out and it was full and only a few feet away from the beach. Pretty cool. Would love to go back and camp out there. Once the weather is warmer. :)

Ali is riding in my Christmas present from Chris. A jogging stroller! Gotta get ready for my next race! :)

The crazy people

While Chris, Ian and Lia walked up to the top of the lighthouse, Ali played on these foundation blocks left over from the former lighthouse keepers house. She had a blast.

Looks like fun! I think the beach looks so neat with all the fog. Happy New Year! Miss you guys! BTW, great picture of Ali. Her eyelashes look so long :)
