Homework

For the last couple of weeks, Ian's teacher has been sending homework home in his Monday folder. The kids have all week to complete the work and it is to be turned in on Fridays. This week however, they do not have school on Friday so we had to get his work finished up tonight so that he can turn it in tomorrow. We sat down at the kitchen table to complete Ian's homework and Lia asked "where is my homework?". I told her that she did not have any homework and that she could color while I was helping Ian. She got so upset and starting crying because she did not have "work" to do like Ian. So I got out one of her Pre-K workbooks to keep her busy. Oh, one of these days she will realize that homework really isn't much fun. :) Until then though, she just wants to be like her big brother.
