Open House

We attended the open house/ice cream social for Ian's new school tonight. He was very excited to see who his teacher would be and to see his classroom. Thankfully, I do know a couple of the moms in his class and his teacher seems very friendly. She remembered him from the Jumpstart program he attended this summer and she called him by name when we walked in the door. That was nice to hear. I was a little overwhelmed though. There were so many people and it is such a big place. So different from his little preschool. I also did not get all my questions answered, but I have a meeting with his teacher scheduled for Wednesday and hopefully I will get the answers I need before his big first day on Thursday.
