Kid Talk

The kids got up early this morning and they were playing in the front room. Chris and I were still in bed, but we could hear them talking. They were looking at a book together. Then we heard Lia say, "Ian, do you like me?". And Ian said, "yeah, of course I do, why do you ask?". It was so sweet and Ian was so matter of fact about it almost like it was a silly question for her to be asking. Then a little later, I had gotten up to get the kids their milk and breakfast and Chris was still in bed. Lia asked, "is daddy still sleeping?". And Ian said, "yes, he lays down more than mommy". Too funny! :)
