New York City - Day 3

Saturday we took the subway down to Battery Park to catch the ferry boat to The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Chris' favorite part of the trip was the boat ride. We got some great pictures of the city from the boat.
When we got back to Battery Park, we walked up to Ground Zero and then over to Wall St.
Then, we took a cab back to Rockefeller Center. We rode by the American Girl store and the line was way out the door. There were so many people everywhere! There were a ton more people out on Saturday than during the week. We lucked out and got a table at Dean & Deluca across from the NBC Studios. We sat there for awhile and drank coffee and people watched. It was pretty crazy!

We had tickets to Mama Mia at 8pm and dinner reservations at Azalea, an Italian restaurant down the street from our hotel, after the show at 10:45pm (yes, dinner at 10:45pm!). So, we decided to go back to the hotel to take a nap. The show was AWESOME! It was also one of my favorite parts of the trip. And, you would have thought that it was 6pm instead of 11pm while we were eating dinner. The city was just buzzing with people with no signs of slowing down.

We had the best time. Looking forward to our next trip to NYC!

While we were walking from Battery Park to Ground Zero, a film crew was setting up to shoot scenes for the movie "The Other Guys". It was pretty neat.
