Grandpa and Grandma visit

Grandpa Larry and Grandma Jill came to visit this weekend. We went to the Farmer's Market Saturday morning. Ian wants a dog so badly and we could not leave the square until Ian had petted every dog there. One dog in particular was so cute that even I had to pet him. He was an 8 week old puppy with the most beautiful blue eyes. Lia on the other hand would pet the small dogs but ended up in Grandpa's arms when the big ones were close by.

Saturday afternoon, Grandpa and Grandma helped Ian set up a lemonade stand. He was so excited about it but could not understand why he was not having any customers (other than Grandpa, that is). Finally, our neighbor was playing outside with his 1 year old daughter and he came over to get a couple of cups. Then, Mark and Cooper came over for some drinks as well. It turned out to be a pretty successful lemonade stand. :)
We had a little birthday celebration for Lia while Grandpa and Grandma were here. Dad went to Harps and picked up a big cookie for the celebration. On the drive home it got thrown from the seat to the floor and was pretty messed up, but Lia did not even notice. Here she is beaming as we sang "Happy Birthday" to her.
One of the gifts Lia got from Grandpa and Grandma was a Disney game box (checkers, tic-tac-toe, bingo, and Dominoes). Here they are playing bingo.
