Peter Pan

Chris and I took the kids to see Peter Pan this evening at the Walton Arts Center. We met the Bells and the McCredys at Grubs for dinner before the show. We had a quick bite and a whirlwind dinner experience (which is what you get when you have six adults and six kids eating at a restaurant together :)) Then we went next door to see the show. Ian and Lia had a great time and were very good throughout the entire program. It was almost 3 hours long! When we got back to the car, Ian informed Chris and I that there were three problems with the show. The first was that Peter Pan was played by a girl. Lia was a little confused by this. Second, Peter Pan was not wearing his(her) hat with the feather. And third, Tiger Lily had a funny voice. Oh well, they both loved the pirates and Indians.

Three of Lia's friends, Cooper, Ava and Caroline, from school were also at the show. Here she is with Caroline.

Looks like the kiddos had a great time! I think I've figured out what Ian needs to be when he grows up -- he needs to be the guy that reviews movies and tells them when they have something out of context! He really has an eye for that!
Love you! Mimi
