Chris took Ian on his first hunting trip this past weekend. Jim was able to go along too, so there were three generations of Murphys hunting in the woods. Ian was so excited. It was all he could talk about last week. Chris bought a building called the condo tower so he and Ian would have a place to hang out while waiting on the deer. The building is 5 feet long and wide and 6 1/2 feet tall. Chris placed it on a stand so that it sits about 10 feet off the ground. They left Saturday morning after Ian's soccer game and then stayed the night at a hole in the wall bed and breakfast in Kingston. Chris did get a little frustrated with Ian (he is only 5 years old), but he said for the most part he did really well and they all had a good time. Unfortunately, they did not get a deer.
