John and Amy welcomed their son into the world Tuesday afternoon. His name is Alexander Charles. Congratulations, guys! Chris and I went to visit Amy in the hospital yesterday morning, but Ian and Lia did not go with us. So, today after school we dropped by for a visit so they could meet Alex. They have been very eager for him to be out of Amy's belly so they could hold him. Lia spent a little time looking and touching Alex and then went downstairs to play with Kate. Ian, on the other hand, wanted to hold Alex the entire time we were there. According to Ian, Alex was his baby. He was very sweet and gentle with him.
