The kids and I met Amy and Kate at the theater earlier today to see Shrek the Third. Both Ian and Kate have been to the movies before, but this was Lia's first time. She did great through the previews and about 15 minutes of the movie, because she had a huge bag of popcorn in her lap and a giant cup of pink lemonade to drink. But when she was finished with her snack, she could not sit still or keep quiet so we had to leave. When we got home, Amy called to say that she and Kate had left early as well. I felt bad for Ian because he was enjoying the movie and did not want to leave. So, I took him back to a later showing. He liked the movie and was so happy to have popcorn twice in one day.
